I’m thinking about booking my VW campervan with Campervan Coachworks and wanted to hear from anyone who has experience with them. They focus on Volkswagen vans and campervans and provide services including engine and clutch repairs, timing chain and head gasket work, electrical wiring, suspension servicing, body repairs, paintwork, and pre-MOT inspections.
If you’ve used them, how was your experience in terms of workmanship, pricing, and turnaround time? Would you trust them for major repairs or a full campervan service? Any insights or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve used Campervan Coachworks on my VW campervan for a mix of mechanical and electrical work. They were clear about what needed fixing before starting, the workmanship was good, and I didn’t have repeat issues. Pricing wasn’t the cheapest, but felt fair for the quality, and they kept me updated when parts delayed the schedule. Turnaround was decent overall.
Based on my experience, I’d trust them with bigger repairs or a full service.
Has anyone else here used them? How did you find the pricing and timing?
